C. Lynn Moriarty
C. Lynn Moriarty-Parman was born in Iowa on her grandmother’s farm. A high school Literature teacher told her a story was good enough to publish in the 1950’s. She has gone on to publish four books, Mushroom Marathon, 2008; Streams of Poetry, 2010;
Rainbows of Joy, 2017 and Children of the River 2020. She was Assistant Manager of a Conoco station on I-80, Cared for Elderly in their homes, was a PALS volunteer Librarian at Walnut Community School, was a Seamstress, doing alterations, was a Tri-Chem Embroidery Paint Instructor for 20 years., was Pres. of 7th District Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa and served as Diocesan Council of Catholic Women President of Deanery 10 in Kansas City/St. Joseph Diocese. Lynn values her family, especially all forty-two grandchildren and is concerned about the immorality prevalent in the world today. She was bookkeeper for the family Construction Firm for many years and also worked in magazine fullfillment job before moving to Missouri in 1988. Her hobbies are Reading, Writing, and Gardening.
